Local authorities are confronted by new challenges as regards sustainable development. Outcome of the Grenelle Environment Forum, the “Grenelle 2” government bill is forcing them to cut greenhouse gas emissions by 4 by the year 2050.

Encourage the mixity of functions. Varied functions: day nurseries, neighbourhood services, inter-company restaurant (particularly at ground floor level). These functions are open to the other companies in the area. A contrasting approach to the usual office towers. With the constraints of their size and their management systems, traditional towers have difficulty integrating into their environment.
Balance urban density in order to optimise the whole range of public investments. Compatibility with contemporary projects developed in the large French urban areas (Ground occupation factor between 2 and 3). The urban integration of Solaris green building is in harmony with the traditional type of street (urban facade).

  • Support for alternative means of transport, other than by road and air.
